Behana Waterfall/Rainforest experience is a canyoning tour run out of Cairns by passionate locals who want to share this natural waterfall spectacle with people from all over the world, and they pride themselves on being 100% eco-friendly.

Arrive at Behana and soak in the beautiful sights. Receive instruction on repelling, jumping, sliding & yes even walking over and around rock. Your adventure starts at the top of the gorge by abseil/jumping into the fresh water. From here, swim, walk over rocky gorges and through the tropical rain forest, leap off rocks into the deep pools below and canyon through Behana Gorge. Don’t worry, anyone will love this adventure experience.

I asked my boyfriend to organise an 'adventure' day whilst we were in Cairns and wow did he deliver ... he booked the Behana Canyon Half day experience .. and we are still buzzing (and laughing) two days later. Our guides Marcio and Brendan were amazing .. professional, informative, reassuring and most of all very funny. As a 'mature' woman I was excited but a little nervous about canyoning as I had not done it before but after a clear informative quick training session and getting completely rigged up with wetsuit, helmut, harness etc etc I was soon standing on the edge of a cliff about to jump into the gorge ... then with a bit of encouragement I was up over and in the beautiful crystal clear waters. It was a fun, challenging and adventurous day. Thanks Marcio and Brendan ..and the whole Cairns Canyoning team ... oh and the photos are still keeping us amused. Cheers Victoria & Bill.

Cheerful guides drove us to the crystal cascades and set us up with the equipment. We had a group of 6 with two guides and they were friendly, energetic and informative. The scenery was beautiful and the activities were exciting and fun. The canyoning is a great option if you want a combination of different activities (zip lining, climbing, swimming, jumping off rocks and abseiling). It will get you out of your comfort zone but the guides are very encouraging and give good instruction (they are with you each step of the way as needed). Would do this again and would definitely recommend to anybody coming through Cairns.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For the adrenalin, thrill seekers out there I would highly recommend booking this tour! This was my first time canyoning and I felt at ease and safe the whole time! Our guide Dom was the best and my friend and I trusted his skill and knowledge. Dom is so committed and passionate about what he does you can forgive his dad jokes 🤪. Such an experience and something my friend and I will not forget. Thank you!!!

A AMAZING day with Dom. This is a must do tour. I pushed my boundaries by jumping off cliffs, sliding down waterfalls and abseiling. Will definitely do again and recommend to all.

It was an amazing experience climbing down waterfalls and jumping off cliffs in the world's oldest rainforest. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They made you feel totally safe the entire time, I could not recommended this enough.

This was great! Keanu and Emily were great in guiding us up the canyon, describing in detail all of the history and nature around us. Also, cliff diving into the water was amazing and I felt very safe with the staff's guidance. Would definitely recommend again as this was one of the best experiences I've ever had!
